Fortum signs agreement with 7T on TERMIS District Energy Management
It is with great pleasure that 7T can announce the signing of an agreement for the roll-out of TERMIS in Fortum operated District Heating systems.
The stated project goals for Fortum is to improve planning, design and operation processes, which will improve Fortum’s efficiency of production and distribution, decrease production and distribution costs, improve the breakdown/shutdown management and of course improve the delivery to end customers.
The first project to be launched is Stockholm, the Capital of Sweden, with a network supplying some 3.000 MWatt to the city. The Stockholm District Heating is one of the largest networks in the world. Stockholm has purchased the recently released TERMIS Operation 4.0 with a large number of operator stations and viewers as well as the Temperature Optimization module. The solution will be installed during 2012 by the 7T System Integrator KELVIN.
‘I am extremely happy and proud that Fortum has chosen TERMIS for their optimization purposes. With some 20 networks in operation, Fortum is a large player on the market. This further consolidates TERMIS’ position as the market leader, and will enable 7T to invest even further in improving the product and especially in developing new optimization tools for the benefit of the district heating operators and the environment.’ Says Jens Krogh Løppenthien, Managing Director, 7T.
