What’s new in TERMIS Operation 4.0 (Part 2)

This second topic in the series of enhancements and news is related to Performance Enhancements.
Miscellaneous Performance Enhancements
- Reduced size of install kit
The size of the install kit has been reduced significantly. From 600 MB in the previous version to 200-300 MB. This has a tangible impact on the performance when downloading and installing the application.
- Background maps without attributes
Background maps can be stripped for attributes which will reduce the model size and thereby the usage of memory. You can move a layer in the layer dialog to the group background layer. This gives you the option to strip attributes.
- More “Apply” buttons in theme configuration dialogs and dashboard configuration dialog
The dashboard configuration dialog and theme dialog have been redesigned. It’s now possible to use an “Apply” button which allows you to configure and test the configuration without exiting the dialog.
- Copy/paste model objects (and dashboard objects) from one model to the other
Both model objects and dashboard objects can now be copied from one model to the other as well as from one layer to another layer within the same model.
