Automatic startup of external programs

Question

I'd like to start another program when the operator starts the configuration. How do I do that?

Answer

Follow this procedure:

  1. Under the configuration folder, create a subfolder named "Startup".
  2. In the "Startup" folder, create shortcuts to the programs you want to launch when the operator starts the configuration.

EXAMPLE: You may want to include the Maintenance program in the "Startup" folder, if the operators use this IGSS program. The program executable is called Mnt.exe and is located in the [Install Path]\Gss folder.
