Introduction

IGSS is full featured automation software – a SCADA system for process control and supervision - with a long row of releases since the start of 7T in 1984. At that time, 7T was the first company in the world to develop an object-oriented and mouse operated SCADA system under the name of IGSS – Interactive Graphical SCADA system.

With more than 25 years in business, IGSS is a proven system in many industries. IGSS always offers backwards compatibility to secure our customers’ investment. As a hardware independent system, IGSS has numerous drivers for PLCs and standard communication protocols. Our software is a very intuitive system with all features required for an “all-in-one” license to create turnkey automation projects.

The newest release

The newest release IGSS V9 is the result of “putting an ear to the ground.” We have wanted to focus on giving our end users more freedom to personalize the overview and insight into the plant operation. Apart from some very useful tools for our system integrators, IGSS V9 gives even more benefits to end users.

The new features in IGSS V9 enables operators and users a much better overview and better guidance with fewer opportunities for error. It leads to greater efficiency in the operation of the facility and enhances the ability of operators in the operational situation.

The new IGSS Master improves insight in an innovative way for plant floor operator. This saves a lot of work for the operator and helps to avoid misinterpretation of the current situation at plant operation. The IGSS Master also highlights the many useful tools in IGSS package to analyze the project.

Our development of the new data server enables faster responses to emerging situations. In combination with "alarm through bleeding" in all layers of the charts, it makes much a better control of daily life.

Time is money and simplicity is a necessity in those days. With the new reporting module everyone - operators, management, etc. – saves time. The new consolidated and optimized reporting module makes it easier to develop authority reporting, customized reports for specific needs, etc. In addition, Global Reports gives the operator the opportunity to consolidate data from multiple IGSS projects, other SCADA systems and external data sources in the reports requested. Further, it has become an easier to produce batch reports.

The upgraded maintenance module allows a more straightforward handling of the preventive maintenance. This module is included in all licenses. The benefits are fewer shutdowns and better efficiency in operations. The need for alarm analysis is increasing in these years and the new Trend Alert Widget in IGSS Dashboard is an excellent tool for this purpose.

Many of our users often need to switch languages online and this feature has now also been simplified. The new options for customizing the command menus on the charts and change the alarm properties online provides an easier operation of the plant.
