AQUIS is the leading water network management system and has been
developed to improve:
- Hydraulic performance.
- Water quality.
- Safety of operation.
While reducing:
- Water supply costs.
- Leak risks.
- Non-revenue water.
- Costumer complaints.
- Capital investment.
AQUIS is in daily operation in 1500 cities worldwide and contributes to
satisfying the water supply needs for more than 100 million people.
AQUIS Offline, Online and Real-Time
In real-time mode, both the user interface and the model resemble offline
mode.
Figure 2. Same user interface in real-time as in offline mode.
Figure 3. Surface plot in online scheduler mode.
The model can also run in online mode, where you can transfer historical data
from the process for simulation via AQUIS Data Manager.
Online scheduler mode is when the model is set up to run say four times a
day, and then retrieve data from AQUIS Data Manager for the last period to
do the simulations on those data. The model will run in that mode 24x7x365,
until the operator stops it.
All results are stored on the AQUIS server, and the data is available for any
client on the network or via the Internet as ASP. You can take a snapshot of
the latest process results via the server, including the model, and use it
for planning and designing, while the real-time system continues to run.
