In AQUIS Operation you can use a satellite image as a background layer in
your model. The application uses Google Map to display your model on top of the
satellite image.
The Google Map facility enables you to perform the following:
- Display the geometry of the model on top of a satellite image.
- Control the pipe object themes that are displayed, as well as the current
view.
- Left-click the model placed on top of the Google map to display numeric
values for pipes.
- You can scale any model to be displayed on Google Map if the map is provided
by Google.
The values derive either from the parameters that form basis for the current
theme, or from the user selected attributes.
