With the release of AQUIS Operation 3.1 you will only have to update your
layer at one single instance.
With the “Share layer files” functionality you can copy model changes from
the master to operators keeping other parts of the system file intact.
You can choose to replace any layer with a layer that is exported as a .lay
file and for example apply this layer as a background layer. If the layer is
defined and thus available under the dialog for Layer Options, the new layer
will substitute the current layer.
The Share layer files at a glance:
- Layer reference files are stored on a shared drive.
- The shared layer is loaded substituting the existing layer if it exists at
the defined location.
- The model is saved including the shared layer.
- The shared layer file is exported from any master or operator via the layer
dialog using right click menu item Export.
