You can compare two scenario layers to observe the differences in the two
layers. As an example you can compare winter load with summer load.
The following will be compared:
- Hydraulic results
- Pipe diameters
- Roughness
- Hazen-William coefficient
You can configure various options for the layer in regards to the model
display as well as other layer settings.
You have the option to compare two scenario layers to observe the differences
in the two layers.
- Right-click the main model view and point to Layers.
- Under the Layer dialog right-click the folder Compare and select Add New
Layer.

This will create an empty layer named Layer_0 that merely serves as a container for the compare setup.
- Select the right-most column More for the new layer.
- Under the section Compare Layers select the two layers to compare under Layer 1 and Layer 2, where layer 1 is the base layer for the compare and from which the values will be deducted.
- Select the check box Keep Updated if you want to automatically get the latest changes. This selection may add a heavy burden on the performance.
- Click OK to start the comparison.
