Taking advantage of the NVB module, you can calculate the current net volume
balance for the relevant pipeline sections based on measured inflow and
outflow and calculated change in pipeline inventory. The change in the
pipeline inventory is calculated on the basis of the simulated dynamic
pressure profile along the pipeline.
The NVB response for the section is analyzed using the SPRT method
(Sequential Probability Ratio Test) in order to detect possible leaks.
